Men, do you know that you are destined for greatness?
Friend, did you know you are a mighty warrior and destined for greatness? Are you aware that you are beautifully, fearfully, wonderfully and intricately made in your mother's womb? Did you know that you are made in the image of Almighty God and loved by God Almighty? He knows you so well and even as far down to the very hairs on your head are all numbered by Him. He knows your innermost hurts and pains. He sees your wounds and tears even if you hide them from the outside world. He knows the tears you have shed. He stores your tears in a bottle. His love for you is everlasting.
You may be grieving right now — grieving over the recent death of a loved one, grieving over a loss of a relationship, or loss of your future, hopes and dreams. God is the Father of compassion, and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble, with the comfort we ourselves receive from God (2 Corinthians 1:3)
You may be feeling lonely and isolated. Proverbs 18:24, give us that promise that God, is a true, loving friend, who is reliable, and sticks closer than a brother.
You may be feeling emotionally weary, worn-out and tired of life. You have reached that point when you just don’t want to face another day. If that is you today, God's promise to you my friend (in Isaiah 40:2) is that He gives strength to the weary. And to Him who has no might, He increases power.
What if you are battling fatigue or experiencing physical exhaustion? His promise to you in Isaiah 40:31 is that you will gain new strength and renew your power. Like an eagle, you will run and not become weary and you will walk and not become tired.
You may be fighting battles daily, battles of your mind, your emotions, your finances, your physical being and protecting your family. Remember that you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:31–39)
God is able to endow you with unfathomable strength, vibrancy and energy so much so that you can run against a troop, and leap over a wall (2 Samuel 22:30)
If there is one thing, I would like you to take away from reading this letter, it is for you to know that you are loved.
